I paint what I love, live, dream. My figurative work has been described as uplifting, joyful and healing. I am just the hands that channel the paint.
My equestrian art celebrates the strength, beauty and power of the horse.
I grew up with two talented artists. I was surrounded by original paintings & scuplture, art materials, sketchbooks and biographies of fine artists.
I’ve always been able to draw, painting was a natural progression. I began with watercolours, because I love the vibrancy and beauty. My mixed media work, at the moment is predominantly oil & collage. Generally I only use acrylics for a background wash. A materials snob, I’m in love with real paint, real pigments.
Where I’ve lived and where I was born aren’t as important as who I’ve become. The present is our point of power.
I love mother nature and her creatures. I love the rain. I have two cats and a horse. I thrive on peace & quiet. I am comfortable being quietly alone for very long stretches of time. Are you?
